  • 2017-2020

    Following a handful of internships in the music industry, Ed began managing the strategy, content creation and day-to-day running of Vevo UK’s social accounts. He orchestrated a tonal rebrand to the prioritise the interests of the target demographic – focusing on promoting music videos through memes and original content. Ed filmed videos with the likes of The 1975, Billie Eilish and The Killers, all of which have been viewed over a million times on YouTube.

  • 2020-2023

    Ed joined the BBC to launch Radio 1 on TikTok and focus on a brand new short-form social video strategy.

    He grew the account to 1.4M followers, 100M likes and generated over a billion video views with his world-class (and often silly) content. Ed developed many viral video formats (such as Bri’ish Lessons), working with the likes of Olivia Rodrigo, John Cena and Dua Lipa. His work has garnered national and international press attention, including a feature on Late Night With Seth Meyers.

  • 2023-2025

    In 2023, Ed was promoted to Senior Social Lead overseeing the strategy of BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Asian Network’s social media accounts (12M followers) and a team of social managers. He planned coverage and led teams on the ground at iconic events like Glastonbury, Big Weekend and Reading & Leeds whilst also sitting on the R1 Playlist team to highlight rising artists and trending sounds for future airplay.
